going back as far as anyone here can remember. Many
people simply cannot imagine being here and not visiting
the “The Bakery.” 404 Main Street, where
Crescent Bakery is located, has housed a retail bakery
going back to at least 1948. We’re the fourth family
to operate a scratch bakery here, and are proud to continue
the tradition of

Like everything else at Crescent Bakery, our dessert
menu focuses on quality. We’re sure you’ll
appreciate our dedication to scratch techniques, creating
fresh butter cream, cakes and desserts the old fashioned
way. One taste will tell you that we never use mixes
or artificial ingredients, and that one taste will keep
you coming back.

As with all of our products, we don't
cut any corners with our doughnuts and other pastries.
Our doughnut glaze is made from four simple ingredients:
water, powdered cane sugar, honey and pure vanilla.
We make pastry cream from scratch to fill our Boston
Creams, which we then dip in a wonderful dark chocolate
glaze. While you’re here you’ve got to try
one of our signature items: the glazed crescent. And
if you come in early enough, you might just be lucky
and get a warm one!
Youth In Revolt
We were proud to be chosen to serve as "Bianca's Cafe" during the 2008 filming of
Youth In Revolt. The movie was released to the theatres on January 8, 2010. Below
is the doughnut case as we set it up for filming. Click on "The Movie" link for
